John Hansen is a Vice President at The CAC Group's Seattle office. John has over 24 years of experience working the commercial real estate industry in Seattle. Currently John focuses on providing leasing and advisory services to institutional owners of commercial office & mixed use properties located in the Seattle and Bellevue (Washington) CBD.
John is one of Seattle's most experienced and respected real estate brokers. He is the premier broker for Beacon Capital Partners 3.0 million square feet Seattle/Bellevue portfolio which includes the Columbia Center, one of America's iconic office towers.
Prior to joining The CAC Group in 2007, John was the Senior Director of Leasing for Equity Office Properties where he participated in over 3,000,000 square feet of transactions. John started his career in Commercial Real Estate in 1988 and has cultivated many relationships within the industry while working for firms such as LaSalle Partners, Colliers, Unico, Wright Runstad and RREEF. John is an active member of the Washington State University Board of Advisors, School of Real Estate.
A native of Eugene, Oregon, John is married to his college sweetheart, Suzanne. Together they have 2 children, Trevor, 17 and Devon, 15. Prior to becoming a dad, he served as a board member for a local chapter of the King County Boys & Girls Clubs of America. John enjoys spending free time with his wife attending their children's sports and school events, and working on his home. He has coached both youth baseball and football. John is also an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman spending any free time he can fly fishing, backpacking, camping and skiing.
