San Francisco's identity is often visually expressed by The Ferry Building, the City's most prominent historic and strategically located mixed-use property. Located at the foot of Market Street, the iconic Ferry Terminal was the primary transportation hub of the entire Bay Area prior to the construction of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge in 1938.

The Port of San Francisco selected William Wilson and Associates, later Equity Office Properties, to redevelop the property into a mixed-use office and food-oriented retail complex. The developer selected The CAC Group as Exclusive Leasing Agent for the 175,000 square foot office portion of the project.

The CAC Group developed an imaginative leasing campaign to highlight the extraordinary architecture located at the historic junction of Market Street and the San Francisco Bay. The project achieved full occupancy quickly, landing legendary San Francisco companies including municipal finance pioneer Stone & Youngberg and distinguished law firm Coblentz Patch and Duffy.
