As a result of its increasing market share and brand expansion, Del Monte outgrew its corporate headquarters building and was forced to expand in a second building, a situation that would only become more acute over time.

Del Monte selected The CAC Group to explore its options to consolidate into a single building with room for expansion with an eye to reducing costs and creating a more efficient workplace.

Under the guidance of Del Monte executive Ray Volan, the CAC team moved quickly to find the best opportunities in Downtown San Francisco; taking full advantage of the soft office market following the economic crash of late 2008 and early 2009.

The point of greatest opportunity for Del Monte was One Maritime Plaza, a San Francisco icon that offered the best opportunity in the market and a respected and highly motivated landlord.  A long-term lease was negotiated with
Morgan Stanley's Prime Property Fund in prime space offering great views of San Francisco Bay from every floor and ample room to grow.

Del Monte's corporate headquarters team and brand builders will soon be reunited into a new world class workplace.
